OBJECTIVE
Cauldron Brewing Co. was looking for a cohesive brand identity where each element expresses their personality, communicates their values, and strengthens their presence in a competitive market through memorable, audience-focused storytelling.
bEHIND THE dESIGN
Cauldron Brewing Co. was created with the significance of cauldrons throughout history, an association which dates back to medieval Europe where brewing was primarily a household task performed by women. Making a cauldron the central image was intentional to represent this significance.
Design choices included accompanying illustrations to represent the unique flavours; colour palettes inspired by the flavours; and unique write-ups and notes about the flavour. To tie in the witchy theme of the brand, an incantation is included on each label, and the logo includes “since 1692” as a nod to the Salem Witch Trials.
